I was given a bag of their coffee beans for Christmas and finally got to pop in. Really nice spot with a good vibe. Tasty coffee and the best way to describe the salad special that day was “exactly what I didn’t know I needed!” Very tasty flavours with quinoa, roasted cauliflower, chickpeas and crumbled feta. Not a dish I would normally go for, but really excellent flavours.

This is a brilliant roastery and I am a long terms retail customer of the Alma Road house roast blend. Request to bosses of LCW: the old black bag was elegant, minimal, much admired and oozed quality. I am not partial to the new "leopard print" bag and it you ever want to go back to the black bag I would be v happy! And I believe i am not the only customer who things this! But generally thanks for making such a fabulous coffee and I enjoy my regular deliveries to Kent v much!!

Outstanding coffee, outstanding service. In terms of roasting whole bean they are up there with the best I have had. Fantastic tips on brewing and free delivery within an 8 mile radius of the shop. Also very reasonably priced. They source a lot of single origin coffees and there is clearly a really good seasonal turnover.

Last Sunday afternoon, I had the pleasure of visiting Lindfield Coffee Works, and I must say, it lived up to all the praise I'd heard. Nestled along a charming High Street, this coffee shop is a true gem in the area. First and foremost, the coffee was simply amazing. Rich, flavourful, and perfectly brewed, it was a delightful pick-me-up. Accompanying the exceptional coffee was equally fantastic food, making for a delightful experience. The atmosphere is just as commendable as its coffee and food. It's a vibrant, lively place, bustling with people who clearly share my appreciation for this spot. While the popularity of the coffee shop means you might have to wait for a table, this isn't necessarily a downside. In fact, it's a testament to how beloved it is by the local community. For those who are a bit impatient, there's always the option to grab your coffee to go and enjoy a leisurely stroll around the lovely High Street, exploring its quaint shops. However, if you manage to snag a table, you'll find it's well worth the wait. The ambiance inside is warm and welcoming, creating a perfect setting to enjoy your coffee and food. In conclusion, I highly recommend a visit to anyone in the area. Its combination of outstanding coffee, delicious food, and inviting atmosphere makes it arguably the best coffee shop around. Whether you're a local or just passing through, a visit here is a must! Rating:

LCW is outstanding! It’s an incredibly well executed speciality coffee venue that’s to be found in a surprising location off Lindfield high street. I’m confident that the closest comparably good speciality cafe is in Brighton, so LCW really occupies a special niche in the local market. There’s MINCKA in Haywards Heath, and also a Sussex Coffee Trucks wagon on Burrell Road (which serves LCW coffee!), but neither of them are on a par with LCW’s cafe in Lindfield. The Sussex Coffee Trucks coffee is of a high standard, but it’s a different proposition to LCW’s cafe since it’s takeaway only. The attention to detail in terms of design, etc., is excellent; the baristas seem knowledgable and competent; the coffee is delicious, and there’s plenty of fresh beans to buy on your way out. The team have also created some stylish little brews guides that are printed in a postcard format - super classy, and a neat little thing to have when preparing coffee at home. I like the fact that the food menu is minimalist. However, if I were to suggest any constructive feedback, then it would be to offer a food option without bread. I’m all too aware of the intimate relationship between coffee shops and baked goods, so I get it, but it would be nice for those of us that don’t / can’t eat carbohydrates to be able to eat something alongside our delectable coffee.
